Southern Vietnam has so much to offer on its own with the vibrance of Ho Chi Minh City contrasting with the beauty and serenity of the Mekong Delta and beautiful beach locations. Ho Chi Minh City is an exciting mixture of a modern city of skyscrapers with old alley ways, street food stalls and incense-infused temples. A food tour on the back of a Vespa is a must. The extensive paddy fields of the beautiful Mekong delta can be explored by bike or boat. This can be experienced as a day trip from Ho Chi Minh City or you can stay overnight in Can Tho or opt for an overnight cruise. This can be followed by a relaxing beach experience on the pristine beaches of Mui Ne, Nha Trang or the idyllic beaches and dive sites of Phu Quoc and the Con Dao islands.
