Cat Ba Island

Cat Ba is the largest island in Halong Bay. The central hub of Cat Ba town features a chain of low-rise concrete hotels, however, the rest of the island is largely untouched; wild, rugged and jungle clad. The islands’ national park  offers a range of outdoor activities, including rock climbing, kayaking, and snorkeling, as well as opportunities to experience local seafood and island village culture.
