Munduk Moding Plantation is a working coffee plantation, that also grow’s a wide variety of tropical fruits, vegetables and flowers. There is also a forest area, with bamboo growth and lotus ponds. You will be given a guided tour and receive a detailed map allowing you to explore Munduk Moding Plantation on your own. There are several hills on Munduk Moding Plantation where you can enjoy the views. Relax with a book from the library in one of the Bale Bengongs spread out over the plantation – these will be supplied with drinks should you get thirsty.

The villas and suites are designed by award winning Bali architects, Popo Danes and Era Anastasia, they marry key features of Balinese architecture with a modernist tradition, adapted to the environment of this hill station. To guarantee a feeling of privacy and to be able to serve each of our guests individually, only 8% of the plantation is used for our hotel, rendering a stay at Munduk Moding Plantation an intimate experience. At the Plantation Garden Restaurant the culinary experience is one of international inspiration blended with the flavors of Indonesia. Fresh ingredients grace each dish created with a garden-to-table approach. They serve Balinese, Indonesian, Asian and Fusion dishes using as much as possible home grown organic vegetables, fruits and spices from our vegetable garden.

You can enjoy outdoor dining on the terraces under the frangipani trees next to the swimming pools or on the verandah upstairs with 180 degrees views. The sunset bar overlooking our lower pool offers a variety of drinks and snacks.
