Fushifaru

Fushifaru is a boutique resort on a small island with 63 rooms. While small, the island prides itself in being a luxury resort while also offering activities of a 5* resort.

Top Tip: The areas surrounding the water villas are great for snorkelling due to the crystal clear waters and being near the drop off.

This boutique 63 villa resort offers the perfect escape for couples, with all the villas being able to sleep a minimum of 4. Its also worth mentioning that kids under 12 eat as well as sleep for free at Fushifaru meaning it is quickly becoming a favourite with families too.

All villas offer a king sized bed with the option to include a daybed and a sofa bed for families. The Beach Villas all offer direct beach access with privacy outside the villas, while the Pool Beach Villas have a good sized private pool. Villa categories comprise of:

For larger families or groups wanting some extra space we would recommend the Duplex Villas:

• Beach Duplex Villas: These spacious Villas comprise of one Sunrise Beach Villa and one Sunrise Pool Beach Villa, interconnected by a shared living room area. These villas can sleep up to 6 adults of 4 adults and 4 children. 
• Premium Beach Duplex Villa: Made up of 1 Sunrise Beach Villa and one Sunrise Pool Beach Villa, this larger duplex has more living space including a small kitchenette area, additional facilities  such as a minibar & wine chiller and can sleep up to 4 adults and 4 children or 6 adults.
• Less then 3 years old, the addition of both Sunrise and Sunset Water Villas, offer an additional modern feature. All Water Villas come equipped with outdoor showers for use after a dip in the ocean. Water Villa categories comprise of:

        • Pool Water Villas
        • Premium Pool Water Vila: These mirror the Pool Water Villas but in addition feature a hammock and a large pool outdoors, while inside the interior is more spacious with a bigger bed.

At Fushifaru you can choose Half Board, Full Board, All Inclusive or Premium All Inclusive.

Korakali: Offering a range of international cuisines, Korakali is a Buffet restaurant. An a la carte breakfast is complimentary from this restaurant and you can also choose a la carte for other meals at an additional charge.

Raakani: A fine dining, Surf and Turf Restaurant Raakani offers a set menu including in  the dining plans, or a la carte at an additional cost. We recommend pre-booking with your villa host if you wish to dine here. 

Teppanyaki: Witness an interactive Japanese fusion filled live show at Teppanyaki. With the option of either having the set menu through your meal or dining a la carte style for an additional charge, this restaurant has it all. We do advise that your are best of to pre-book to avoid disappointment.

Fanihandi Bar: The perfect place if you are looking to watch the sun go down while sipping a fresh fruity cocktail. Fanihandi has a happy hour each day with a different drink as well as a Maldivian culture show every Friday for you to enjoy. 

Thundi Juice Bar: At the Thundi Juice Bar you can expect to find fresh fruit juices, fruit skewers and immune boosting shots.

Facilities:

• Natural house reef – The reef can be found around 50 metres away from the island and circles around the entire resort. You can also take a 5-10 minute boat ride out to Fushifaru Thila, a protected marine park known for its Manta Rays.
• Underwater Playground: The underwater playground is a uinque feature of Fushifaru, where you are able to find a swing, bicycle and other similar objects nestled in amongst the coral.
• Nearby Fushifaru Kan’du Marine Protected Area: The area is made up of 3 iconic dive sites dive sites including Fushifaru Thila. At this dive site you can find thriving marine life, unique cave formations and a marine cleaning station.
• Heylhi Spa: This award winning Balinese style spa which is inspired by the tree of life has five treatment rooms. If you are on Premium All Inclusive plan you can get a 50 minute spa treatment once during your stay.
• Kokko Kids Club: For children aged 4-12. The kids club is run by the kids club hosts and has a great outdoor area with slides & swings as well as a fully air conditioned activity room.
