OBLU SELECT Lobigili

Located on the North Male Atoll, OBLU SELECT Lobigili, this adults only island of Love, is accessible only to couples who want to experience peace and tranquility. This beautiful man-made Island offers serenity and calm and a true sense of Maldivian relaxation. With luxurious food and white sandy beaches, sit back and relax or why not pamper yourself in the Eleina Spa before snorkelling out on the Islands house reef.

On arrival into Male airport, meet your resort guide who will whisk you away to wait for your 15 minute speedboat transfer ride across to the resort. Once on board, sit back and relax with a cool wet cloth and chilled water, with the option to connect to the onboard Wifi. Download the Island App to make sure you get the most out of your experience.

When you reach the Island you will be met by your own dedicated Island host, who will escort you to the bar area to complete check in and explain the basics of the resort to you, while you enjoy your surroundings with your refreshing welcome drink.

All 68 spacious villas comes with a walk in wardrobe, veranda and open air bathroom.  With a modern style décor, these luxurious villas have their own mini-bar that is replenished daily with a selection of snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.  For those guests who like that extra touch of luxury you can even order your own choice of pillow. 

Nest Water Villa(22): These luxurious and sophisticated water villas offer luxury and privacy, with vibrant contemporary decor.  All water villas have a small glass panel in the floor, allowing you to watch the marine life floating by. They also all offer a small hammock in the bathroom where you can sit back and relax.

SunNest Beach Pool Villa (24): These elegant modern beach villas, with their own private 8m2 plunge pool, offer you a stunning lagoon view, just steps away from the gorgeous white sandy beach. 

SunNest Water Pool Villa (22): These mirror the Nest Water Villa’s with the additional luxury of your own 8m2 private plunge pool for ultimate overwater experience.

All guests staying at Lobigili will dine on the “Lobi Plan”. All day-dining is at Ylang Ylang restaurant and includes buffet style breakfast, a vast lunch time menu featuring live cooking stations and a dinner choice from five set global menus. If you stay for 4 nights or more, each guest gets to dine once at Only Blu and once at Gaadiya-17 Food Truck.

In addition to Ylang Ylang, guests can choose alternative dining options (additional charges apply):

• Only Blu: The largest under water restaurant in the Maldives. Enjoy delicious food from a fixed menu, while experiencing this dreamy under water setting in this surreal horse-shoe shaped restaurant. Sit back with your wine in hand and watch the marine life unfold before your eyes.
• Gaadiya-17 Food Truck: Three course meal served at the edge of the ocean
• For those looking to add an extra special touch of love to their experience, why not consider a private romantic candlelit dinner or a private movie night setup on the beach.

EleIna the Spa – 4 treatment rooms where a wide range of nourishing treatments are offered. For every 4 night stay each guest receives a complimentary 45 minute spa treatment.

Marine/Water sports:

Complimentary use of non-motorized water sports equipment and snorkel equipment for the duration of your stay is included in the Lobi plan.  For those keen to snorkel, if you are staying in a water villa, it is best to snorkel out directly from the Sunset side of the Island.

One Complimentary Sunset fishing trip per guest per stay and one complimentary snorkelling guided trip per guest per stay is also included.

Other activites (additional cost) can be organised including options such as Turtle snorkelling, Whale shark snorkelling, Dolphin Watching or Big Game Fishing.
