Sugar Beach

A 5* manor-style resort, located on Mauritius’s west coast on Flic-en-Flac beach – a long stretch of stunning white sand, surrounded by tropical gardens.  This is a very family friendly resort offering free accommodation and meals for 2 children under 12. Sugar Beach has a traditional feel and oozes opulence and glamour. Guests have access to all facilities at sister resort La Pirogue, just next door. Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from the airport.

There are 238 room including 2 Executive Suites and 20 Premium Suites across the Manor House. There are also 16 Creole-style Villa Houses. All rooms come with a private terrace or balcony.

Deluxe Room: Located in Manor House on the ground or first floor.

Deluxe Seaview Room:  Located in Manor House and Creole-style Villa Houses.

Deluxe Beachfront Room: Located in Creole-style Villa Houses on the first floor.

Premium Seaview Room: More spacious and located in Manor House and Creole-style Villa Houses on the ground floor. Connecting rooms are available.

Premium Beachfront Room: Also more spacious and located in Creole-style Villa Houses on the ground floor, with direct beach access. Connecting rooms are available.

Family Room: Located in Manor House on the ground or first floor. Includes twin and king-size beds.

Premium Suite: One of the biggest suites, located within Creole-style Villa Houses. A great option for families as it includes a bedroom with king-size bed, bathroom and a separate living room, also with a convertible double bed sofa and shower room, both with private terraces.

Executive Beachfront Suite: Also one of the biggest suites located within Creole-style Villa Houses on the ground floor. Includes a king-size bed, living area, walk-in closet and spacious bathroom with a luxurious standalone bathtub. This can be connected to a Premium Beachfront Room also.

There is the option to go Half Board, Full Board or All Inclusive. Sugar Beach has a strong culinary offering with the following restaurants:

Le Patio: The main restaurant which serves cuisine from all over the world, buffet-style.

Citronella’s Beach Lounge Restaurant: A La Carte Mediterranean food.

Buddha Bar Beach: A La Carte Fusion. The most popular restaurant, known for amazing seafood and sushi.

Bar & Pool Service: Offers a light poolside menu.

Each of the above offers a bar and there is also The Tea Room serving tea from around the world.
