The exquisite hotel comprises four charismatic old (150 years), restored buildings in Jodhpur’s very own ‘rose-red’ sandstone. This is combined with stylish, contemporary new buildings which have been designed by an acclaimed architect. Strolling away from the excitement, hustle and bustle of the old town and walking under RAAS’ imposing gateway, is like entering a blissfully peaceful, hidden oasis.

All rooms are air-conditioned with latest eco friendly machines, and have overhead fans, hairdryers, safes, central heating, TV, telephones and superb, attached bathrooms. There are rooms with easy access for wheelchairs and non-smoking rooms. Two bottles of complimentary mineral water per person per day is provided in the bedrooms. All bathrooms have separate showers and cast iron bath tubs and bathrobes.

There are two restaurants, a covered dining room and al fresco, namely the Darikhana Restaurant and Baradari Café by the pool. Both table d’hote and a la carte menus are available, serving continental and Indian food. Room service is available too. There is a  fabulous heated swimming pool with plenty of lounging space from which to relax and admire the views of the fort looming above.
