Ratwatte Walauwa is a one-of-a-kind manor house, nestled in the scenic countryside near Kandy. It offers a blend of colonial charm and modern luxury. It is a fantastic example of Kandyan architecture with its grand verandas, wooden floors, and antique furnishings.
There are nine different individually decorated rooms, named after a butterfly, found in that region. Including five deluxe and four larger ultra rooms, each accompanied by their own personal butler. Every room comes with stylish furniture and modernised amenities.

Ratwatte Walauwa is well placed to explore a wide range of locations in the cultural triangle and tea county. There is plenty to do in and around Kandy, such as visiting the Temple of the Tooth, the Botanical Gardens, and the old capital of Kandy itself.
There are five deluxe rooms at Ratwatte Walauwa. They are Sunbeam, Cornelian, Monkey Puzzle, Pioneer, and Lime Butterfly. These contain a luxury four poster bed, air-conditioning, and an old-fashioned cast-iron bathtub with twin-vanities.
There are four different ultra deluxe rooms at Ratwatte Walauwa. They are Red Spot Duke, Peacock Royal, Indian Admiral, and Black Rajah. These rooms come with a king sized four poster bed, air conditioning, a shower and bath with twin-vanities, a private veranda, and even your own personal butler. Also, the Black Rajah room can be booked with the adjacent deluxe room, Monkey Puzzle, for group bookings.
