Six Senses Laamu
Six Senses Laamu is the only resort in the Laamu Atoll, in the southern Maldives, just five degrees north of the Equator. The resort strives towards self-sufficiency and zero-waste, as well as being home to the largest Marine Team in the country.
Six Senses Laamu is set in a tranquil palm-fringed lagoon. Villas with all the creature comforts are set either on stilts over the water or on the beachfront, and are an easy wander from the resort’s restaurants, lounges and amazing excursion experiences.
The resort offers a wide range of water sports including water skiing, surfing, night diving and snorkelling in the island’s coral-rich house reef. The well-known surfing wave, Ying Yang, breaks just offshore.
Guests can also take advantage of numerous excursions such as a picnic on a private sandbank and exploring neighbouring islands including Hithadhoo. Six Senses Latitude boasts an on-site children’s club, The Den.
