Just 40 minutes by seaplane from Male International airport, this fabulous wellness resort offers a path of discovery, for those looking for relaxation and a “Healthy Holiday”. Start your journey in the private Joali lounge, where you can start to relax and unwind before heading to the resort. While focused on wellbeing, this resort does have something for everyone and welcomes families.
This Island of wellbeing works like a retreat with a focus on offering ultra luxury for all aspects of the stay, ranging from treatments, to dining experiences to the villas themselves.
The resort focuses its core criteria around the 4 pillars of Joali Being – Mind/ Microbiome (digestion) / Skin / Energy.
This property, is considered to be less strict than some of the other well known Wellness centres such as Ananda – the main focus of Joali Being is to be tailored with the clients choices and to go at the clients pace.
All guests get a 30 minute consultation about the wellbeing program options – these can be booked in advance or simply organised locally.
In addition to wellness, the property has a focus on conservation and sustainability. With a woman founder, the team like to empower locals and you will find that a lot of the staff are local female Maldivians. Coral conservation is another key project that the resort pride themselves on.
All 68 “well living” spaces have a very soft, calm décor, with private pools and open rustic airy interiors, all customised to best suit the guests and to help them relax and rejuvenate. All rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and round edges are used to help promote a feeling of calm and tranquillity. There is a range of 1-4 bedroom options.
