Built in the 1930’s, the property was originally the home of a famous British businessman. It was later converted and extended into a heritage hotel and retains period funriture and colonial character whilst benefitting from modern amenities. The hotel is surroundied by extensive gardens with magnificent views of the Himalayas and valleys. An onsite spa offers a range of treatments and massages to help guests unwind and rejuvenate. Mountain bikes are available to rent for those seeking to explore the local area. The Elgin is our recommended place to stay in Kalimpong.
All Double/Twin rooms are extremely spacious, elegantly appointed and have views across the Teesta river valley and the Himalayas.
