Cap Maison Resort and Spa is a luxurious boutique hotel with rooms, suites, and villas inspired by Andalusian/Mediterranean hacienda-style architecture, nestled on a bluff above Smugglers Cove. The buildings feature whitewashed walls, terracotta roofs, ornate tilework, arches and tropical gardens. It’s known as one of the ‘foodie’ hotels on the island with guests from other hotels frequenting this resort for its food alone. 

Guests are treated to stunning views across the Caribbean Sea toward Martinique and Pigeon Island with a private sandy beach tucked below.

Garden View Room: These elegantly cosy apartments, which are tucked away in lush tropical gardens, can have a king-size bed or, depending on the guest’s request, twin beds. Junior Suite: Overlooking the tropical gardens and with partial ocean views, the design is finished with a large outside covered living area and opulent bathroom, some of which have outdoor showers. Rich fabric in the bedrooms and hand-painted tiles in the ensuite baths guarantee a sophisticated and cosy ambience. These rooms are a natural hideaway and retreat, with a cosy atmosphere that is ideal for couples. They offer the best of both worlds with views of the garden and the Caribbean sea.

Spanish Courtyard Suite: The stunning Spanish Courtyard is home to opulent and roomy villa suites, with balustrades and warm tiles that overlook the inviting courtyard pool. They have a big private terrace or balcony that is accessible from both the living space and the bedroom, as well as a separate living/dining area. With the loungers on the balcony, parents can safely watch kids playing in the Courtyard pool, and these suites are a great choice for a young family looking for a central location. They will also be ideal for a luxury-seeking couple. 

Oceanview Suite: Surrounded by luscious tropical gardens and overlooking the Naked Fisherman Beach, the Oceanview Suite offers breathtaking views of the turquoise Caribbean Sea and Martinique. This is a large split-level suite featuring a private veranda and living/dining space downstairs with a four-poster king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe, and private jacuzzi tub on the balcony all on the upper level. These are an easy choice for a romantic couple seeking intimacy, the sound of the ocean and plenty of space. It is not advised for anyone who has trouble climbing stairs. 

Oceanview Suite with Pool: Situated on the ground level, this roomy villa suite offers a large private pool and a large separate living and dining area. Encircled by terraces, balconies, and lush tropical landscaping, enjoy stunning views of the ocean. Ideal for anyone looking for true luxury, limitless room, views of the ocean and the option to relax in style in their own pool. 

Oceanview Suite with Pool and Roof Terrace: These are among the most distinctive and roomy suites in the Caribbean, complete with a swimming pool and a wide private rooftop. All have panoramic views of the mountains and sea. Large private verandas provide excellent private eating alternatives and the kitchen and living/dining room are connected by a spacious master bedroom. The bedroom is decorated in rich, modern Caribbean hues. Those seeking the pinnacle of luxury with a twist may find these suites appealing. 

Villas: Use all the facilities of the Cap Maison resort but enjoy your own private space in a villa in the resort. This is perfect for families and groups of friends. Enjoy a superb master bedroom with the choice of one or two additional double bedrooms. Located in the beautiful Spanish Courtyard amid tropical gardens, with balustrades and warm tiles, they gaze out over the lovely courtyard pool. A two-bedroom villa features a king-size bed in the master bedroom and a queen or twin bed in the adjoining second bedroom. A three-bedroom villa features a king-size bed in the master bedroom and another king-size bed in the adjoining bedroom. The third bedroom, which connects to the master bedroom has either a queen bed or twin beds. 

Saman House: Situated on a clifftop amid an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens with views of Martinique to the north and Pigeon Point to the west over the Caribbean. Saman House is a chic vacation home that has its own private grounds and all the amenities and services of Cap Maison. This is an ideal getaway – spacious and tastefully decorated in a laid-back tropical manner. The balcony, pool and BBQ overlook the sea, where you can go snorkelling. Smuggler’s Cove is a safe swimming beach that is two minutes’ walk away. The house has four double bedrooms with ceiling fans and ensuite bathrooms with showers. All of the bedrooms have a view of the sea and open onto the veranda that runs the length of the house.

The Cliff at Cap: With a menu that combines French and Caribbean influences, The Cliff at Cap is one of the trendiest restaurants in the area. This restaurant offers the ideal vantage point for breathtaking and unforgettable sunsets, with stunning views of Pigeon Island to the west and Martinique to the north, all while being encircled by the stunning Caribbean sea. 

The Naked Fisherman: During the day, guests can enjoy lounging on Smuggler’s Cove beach. Watch breathtaking sunsets or listen to the soft sound of the waves delivering a “toes in the sand” experience. With a modern BBQ and grill, The Naked Fisherman is situated directly on the beach providing you with a less formal setting to dine. 

Rock Maison and Champagne Zip Line: Offering you the ideal location for breathtaking sunsets, surrounded by the stunning Caribbean sea and offering unhindered views of Pigeon Island to the west and Martinique to the north. It’s impossible not to love this amazing location, especially with a champagne zip line delivering your drinks to you. Enjoy a candlelit dinner for two whilst you watch the sunset. 

Fitness Centre: The well-equipped gym is a great place to work out if you want to keep your workout routine in place whilst on holiday. Water, towels and three TVs are available at the gym to help kill time. 

Spa Maison: Using the best ingredients from Sothys of Paris, Spa Maison provides a delicious range of treatments for both men and women. Relax afterwards on the spa terrace. 

Non-Motorised Water Sports: Locals refer to the lovely beach at Cap Maison as “Smugglers Cove,” while those who are more energetic can enjoy a variety of free non-motorised water activities. You may keep yourself entertained with kayaks, Hobie Cat sailing, paddleboarding, windsurfing, and snorkelling on the house reef (with turtles if you’re lucky!). Whereas if you just want to sit back and relax, try the hammock on the rocks! 

Cap Maison Hiking and Running Club: Enjoy the fresh air and views of roaring waves by hiking and running along the favourite running and trekking routes on the untamed and mostly uninhabited Atlantic West Coast nearby. Water, towels and a guide are provided. 

Golf: The Sandals Golf & Country Club is located just a short distance from Cap Maison’s entrance. It features some of the most picturesque and difficult 18-hole golf courses in the Caribbean.

Walk in Wine Cellar Experience: Wine tastings are hosted every week to entice your taste buds with flights of unusual wines. Each is accompanied by a delicious array of amuse-bouche and lively conversations led by the sommelier.

Evening Entertainment: On select evenings at Cap Maison, enjoy entertainment from some of St. Lucia’s most skilled musicians in breathtaking clifftop settings.

Rodney Bay: Cap Maison Resort and Spa is ideally remote yet still accessible to Rodney Bay, the island’s popular tourist destination, with its abundance of local eateries, retail establishments, and golden sand beaches.

Pigeon Island National Park: This is where the English and French fought over this beautiful island multiple times and it has a thriving dining scene within minutes (by car), a brand-new super yacht marina and an 18th-century fort with breathtaking views of the neighbouring island of Martinique.

Shopping: There are several local stores in Rodney Bay, the island’s primary tourist destination, which is only five minutes away by car from Cap Maison. Whereas Pointe Seraphine, a popular shopping destination offers a variety of duty-free shopping options in nearby Castries, the island’s capital.

Markets: Castries, the capital of St. Lucia has two fantastic marketplaces that are excellent for finding souvenirs to take home.
