Canvas and Orchids Retreat features 13 tented villas where eight are floating on pontoons and five are set on Koh Andet Island. These spacious accommodations, ranging from 45 to 60 square meters, are designed with comfort in mind, boasting private sundecks, en-suite bathrooms, and interiors crafted from sustainable materials like water hyacinth. The island tents have been specially designed for young families.
Guests can indulge in local Cambodian and Western cuisine at the Canvas and Orchids Retreat Restaurant using locally sourced ingredients where you have the option to dine al-fresco by the Tatai river. Embark on activities such as kayaking, jungle treks, and sunset cruises, or simply relax amidst the serene rainforest backdrop.
Accessible only by boat, the retreat emphasises environmental responsibility and community engagement, providing an authentic and tranquil escape into nature.
These 45 square metre tents are perched on floating pontoons, offering guests direct access to the Tatai River. Inside, you’ll find a queen-sized bed or twin beds, a comfortable sofa, and handcrafted furniture made from local materials. Suitable for two adults and one child. The deck includes a terrace with sunbeds and outdoor seating chairs, perfect for relaxation. The en-suite bathroom features a wooden Hinoki tub, and the design emphasises sustainability, including a clever wastewater treatment system.
Spanning 60 square metres, the Island Double Tent is designed for couples or small groups, suitable for four guests. It includes a double or twin master bedroom with a sofa and a separate twin bedroom. The tent is equipped with modern amenities such as a private en-suite bathroom with a shower. The spacious terrace offers outdoor seating, providing a serene space to enjoy the surrounding nature. Located just steps away from the river banks.
Ideal for families, the Island Family Tent offers 60 square metres of space, featuring a double or twin master bedroom and a separate twin bedroom for children. It accommodates up to five guests. The tent includes a private en-suite bathroom with a shower and a private terrace with outdoor seating. The design focuses on comfort and sustainability, ensuring a memorable stay amidst the natural beauty of the Cardamom Rainforest. The family tents are surrounded by coconut trees, fine sand and are steps away from the river banks.
