Live like royalty at this tiny heritage palace, located 34 km from Kochi Airport. Built as the residence of the Rajah of Cochin, there are just three rooms, a Master Bedroom and two additional Bedrooms. In true No News No Shoes fashion, you need to enter barefoot (and stay that way). You will have the entire property to yourself as only one booking is taken for each date. The entire staff will be at your disposal to organise boat rides, art performances, walking tours or fishing trips. Visit the nearby Chittoorappan temple and take a stroll around the quaint village. The palace has a stunning location on the shores of the Kochi backwaters yet it is possible to visit Fort Kochi on a day excursion. Food is pure vegetarian, prepared and served in a traditional manner with an emphasis on fresh ingredients. Breakfast is delicious South Indian homestyle food. Lunch in the dining room is served on traditional banana leaves. But Dinner is a more indulgent affair, when you dine off pure silverware, just as the kings of old did. Chittoor Kottaram is operated by CGH Earth who are renowned for their stylish properties which perfectly combine authenticity and comfort whilst providing a high standard of service.
